How it works
From an account to a study session in four steps.
Create your account
One account with your email address. It is what your purchases attach to, and what you sign in with.
Add your packages
Pick a bundle or just the certificate areas you are testing on from the pricing page. Your licence key arrives by email; enter it once on your account page.
Open ATA Prep
Sign in to the Study App in any browser. Choose the oral or the written, then an area, a topic, or a guide of your own.
Study the way you will be tested
Answer oral cards out loud and mark yourself honestly. Work the written bank in study mode, then sit a timed practice test. What you miss collects in a review queue until you clear it.
Study what you need, not everything
Every question carries the ACS area and topic it comes from, so you can point the app at exactly what you are weak on.
Build a guide
Pick topics, keywords or ACS codes and save them as a study guide. Guides are saved to your account and follow you between devices.
Start from your AKTR
Upload a photo or PDF of your Airman Knowledge Test Report. ATA Prep reads the ACS codes on it, shows you what it found, and builds a guide from the codes you confirm. The file is used only for that and is not kept.
Weak areas and review
Cards and questions you get wrong come back until you clear them, and your recent results point out the topics you keep struggling with.
Where you study
What you buy lives with your ATA Prep account, not with one device. Sign in to the Study App in any browser and the packages you own are there; once your questions have loaded they keep working offline.
Installable apps are in development. Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android builds come from the
same code and will appear here as each store listing goes live. What you buy is tied to your
account, not to a device, so it will work in those too at no extra cost.
